Promise Land is a feature-length documentary about the spiritual journey of a Jewish-American businessman, Jeffrey Rosen, who buys the Maccabi Haifa Israeli professional basketball team in 2007 and leads them to their first championship in the franchise's 60-year history, going from worst to first.
The documentary tracks the intriguing stories of an assembled group of international basketball players from the NBA, South America, and Europe as they acclimate to Israel and pull off one of the biggest upsets in sports history.
